VOICE ACTOR
About Me
Raised in North St. Louis, Missouri, Raisha Jye learned early that leadership isn't always about being the loudest person in the room. As a middle child, she became a natural negotiator, communicator, and bridge-builder, skills that would later shape both her career and her voice.
Her commitment to service began at a young age through volunteering at her local YMCA and grew into supporting food pantries, serving her church's media ministry through camera operation and audio production, and finding small ways to care for the world around her through community involvement and environmental stewardship.
Long before she stepped behind a microphone professionally, Raisha spent years leading teams, training employees, working in customer service, sales, childcare, and management. Those experiences gave her a deep understanding of people, how they think, what motivates them, and what helps them feel seen and understood.
Today, Raisha brings that same perspective to her voiceover work. Recording from her professional studio in St. Louis, she helps brands, organizations, and storytellers connect with audiences through authentic, human-centered storytelling.
Known for her grounded delivery and warm, relatable presence, Raisha's voice has been described as trustworthy, wise, conversational, authoritative, friendly, expressive, and unpretentious. Her vocal age range naturally spans from the late 20s to early 40s, and she speaks with a General American (neutral) accent, while comfortably leaning into Midwestern and Southern tones when a project calls for it. Whether she's voicing a best friend, corporate narrator, soulful guide, or voice of reason, she adapts with intention and ease.
Raisha has voiced projects for brands including Monday.com, Procter & Gamble, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Mercedes-Benz, UPS, Got2b, Girls Inc., and more. Across commercial, corporate, healthcare, and eLearning projects, her focus remains the same: creating genuine connection through story.
When she's not in the booth, you'll likely find her volunteering, exploring creative spaces, learning something new, or chasing the same sense of wonder she felt as a seven-year-old discovering the magic of storytelling for the first time.
